The Duban Sonic Belt Tension Meter can be used to measure the frequency of transmission belts during impact or rapid movement.

This instrument calculates and measures based on the principle of "transverse vibration of a string." The tester captures the vibration of the belt and records it as a frequency. By inputting mass, width, and span into the following formula, the relationship between frequency and tension can be calculated: T=4xMxWxS²xF²x10^-9
